Korea Super Series 2010 Report

He participated in this tournament, while still recovering from his knee injury that he suffered from last year. This tournament, he was defeated in the first round, but we were able to see the Samurai spirit.

Before his match, there was a player who would frequently look out of the curtains. Przmyslaw Wacha, the super star out of Poland. He is a new addition to the Kumpoo family, and this first round match at the 2010 Korean Open Super Series would be his first bearing the Kumpoo name.
His first match was to be against Germany's Marc Zwiebler, a left handed player with a powerful smash.
The first set was dominated by Zwiebler's deep clear shots and prevented Wacha from taking advantage of his favorite shots, losing the set 21-11
During the second set, Wacha used cross cuts and smash to pressure his opponent and both players fought for every point
The set was tied at 15-15 and Wacha attempted to take game for him self but was able to and dropped the second set.
After the game, Wacha seemed disappointed that he couldnt perform the way he wished because he was still recovering from his left knee injury from last year. Regardless of the results, Wacha just smiled and said, "Next tournament will be better."
After asking for a photo after his match, Wacha had a different, more friendly face compared to his "game face". We all wish for for Wacha's physical condition to improve, and for him to continue his quest to take on the world.
