2001

Kumpoo brand was established in Japan.

2006

Guangzhou Sobey Sports Co., Ltd. was officially established.

2007

Kumpoo officially entered the Chinese market.

2008

Established Kumpoo's own badminton shoe factory.
Sponsored a total of 14 Global Chinese Cup badminton events, one of the largest badminton event series for Chinese communities worldwide, through 2014.

2009

Signed Thai men's singles player Boonsak Ponsana.

2010

Signed Polish men's singles player Przemyslaw Wacha.
Signed seven members of the Thailand National Badminton Team: Sudket Prapakamol, Saralee Thungthongkam, Songphon Anugritayawon, Kunchala Voravichitchaikul, Duanganong Aroonkesorn, Pakkawat Vilailak, and Sarayut Saetang.
Became title sponsor and official equipment sponsor of the Macau Badminton Open through 2013.
