From November 26 to December 1, 2013, the “Kumpoo Macau Open Badminton Grand Prix Gold 2013”, authorized by the Badminton World Federation (BWF), organized by the Macau Badminton Federation, officially sponsored by the Macau Sports Development Board, and titled & equipment sponsored by Kumpoo, was successfully held at the Macau Forum.
As the 17th stop of the 2013 BWF Grand Prix series, the tournament featured a total prize pool of USD 120,000 (approximately MOP 1 million) and attracted 300 top athletes from 19 countries and regions, including China, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Chinese Taipei, and others.
As the title sponsor of the event, Kumpoo provided comprehensive professional equipment and service support for the tournament. Mr. Li Yueyi, General Manager of Guangzhou Sobey Sports Co., Ltd., attended the event and presented medals and prize money to the champions and runners-up of the women's doubles event alongside tournament guests. Mr. Liu Bao, Chairman of Guangzhou Sobey Sports Co., Ltd., presented awards to the women's singles finalists together with Tournament Chairman Kwong Tat Choi. The active participation of Kumpoo representatives throughout the event demonstrated the brand's strong commitment to international competitions and its deep passion for badminton.
