On February 12, 2026, at the conclusion of the Oceania Championships 2026, TEAM KUMPOO athletes delivered outstanding results, capturing one gold medal, one silver medal, and multiple impressive finishes. As the highest-level badminton tournament in the Oceania region following the Paris Olympic Games, the event brought together many top-tier players. With exceptional performances, KUMPOO ambassadors once again demonstrated the formidable strength of TEAM KUMPOO.

KUMPOO ambassador Gronya Somerville displayed remarkable competitive form throughout the tournament. From the opening round to the final, she advanced with ease, winning every match in straight games. In the final, facing a fellow Australian opponent, she secured a dominant 21:9, 21:9 victory to claim the title — earning the distinction of Women's Doubles Champion, with a near-flawless performance. This triumph not only highlighted her individual excellence, but also marked another successful validation of KUMPOO equipment on the top competitive stage.

Another KUMPOO ambassador, Tiffany Ho, also delivered a standout performance. In the semifinals, she secured a commanding 2:0 victory over a young Australian contender to advance confidently to the final. Facing an in-form Shaunna LI in the championship match, Tiffany Ho fought with determination and resilience. Although she ultimately fell short, she earned the honor of Women's Singles Runner-up. Her fighting spirit and refined technique drew enthusiastic applause from the crowd.

TEAM KUMPOO’s rising young talent Faye HUO showcased exceptional promise during the tournament as well. In the women’s doubles semifinals, she faced the formidable pairing led by Gronya Somerville. Despite finishing as a Women's Doubles Semifinalist, Faye demonstrated composure beyond her years — competing fearlessly and revealing immense potential that signals a bright future for TEAM KUMPOO.

Meanwhile, TEAM KUMPOO member Maureen WIJAYA displayed tremendous determination in the women’s doubles quarterfinals. After an intense three-game battle decided by a narrow margin, she concluded her campaign as a Women's Doubles Quarterfinalist.

From Gronya Somerville’s commanding championship victory, to Tiffany Ho’s hard-earned silver medal, to Faye HUO’s emergence on the international stage, TEAM KUMPOO authored its own chapter of glory at the Oceania Championships 2026. Every win and every breakthrough stand as the strongest expression of the brand’s spirit of “Take the challenge.”
