November 1, 2026—Multiple Team Kumpoo athletes featured at the recently concluded HYLO Open 2026, taking ontopopponents from around the world.

In mixed doubles, Chan Yin Chak of Hong Kong, China and his partner demonstrated excellent coordination throughout the tournament. They opened their campaign with a comfortable 2-0 victory to advance to the next round. In the second round, they faced a formidable pair from Chinese Taipei. After narrowly losing the opening game 20–22 in a hard-fought contest, Chan and his partner quickly regrouped, turning the match around to secure a three-game victory and book their place in the quarterfinals.

In the men’s singles round of 16, a Team Kumpoo derby took place. Kalle Koljonen went head-to-head with Aria Dinata. Up against his familiar teammate, Koljonen was in better form, winning in straight games 2-0 to advance to the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Malaysia’s Cheam Jun Wei also featured in the men’s singles event and gave it his all on court.

In women’s singles, Azerbaijani player Keisha Fatimah Azzahra also took to the court, showing determination against strong opposition before exiting in theround of 32.

Throughout the HYLO Open, Team Kumpoo athletes faced the physical demands of a packed schedule alongside the challenges of high-level competition. From Koljonen’s composed performance in an all-Team Kumpoo clash to Chan’s resilient comeback under pressure, the athletes demonstrated their determination to take on tough opponents. Team Kumpoo will continue to support its athletes with professional equipment as they push their limits and pursue new achievements in the tournaments ahead.
