June 15, 2026 — At the recently concluded Australian Open 2026, multiple Team Kumpoo athletes took to the court alongside some of the world's best players. Every athlete competed with determination and gained valuable experience for the challenges ahead.

In the mixed doubles event, Hong Kong China's Chan Yin Chak and his partner delivered an impressive performance. They advanced comfortably through the first two rounds with straight-game victories, showcasing excellent form throughout the tournament.

In the quarterfinals, the pair faced a formidable Thai duo currently ranked World No. 13. During the match, Chan displayed outstanding touch and confidence, making full use of his delicate net control and court coverage to create attacking opportunities. Once openings emerged, he capitalized with decisive winners, leveraging the explosive attacking power of the Asura II racket to establish a clear advantage in the early stages of the contest.

As the match progressed, however, the pair were unable to maintain their momentum in the second half of the match, and unfortunately bowed out in the quarterfinals. Although they were unable to advance further, Chan demonstrated his own rhythm, quality, and competitiveness against one of the world's top mixed doubles combinations, further proving his potential on the international stage.

Team Kumpoo fielded a strong lineup throughout the Australian Open. Thai national player Kantaphon Wangcharoen competed in men's singles; Australian doubles specialist Andika Ramadiansyah participated in both men's doubles and mixed doubles; Nozomi Shimizu and Gronya Somerville competed in women's doubles and mixed doubles; Nour Youssri featured in women's singles; rising talent Faye Huo contested both women's singles and women's doubles; while Maureen Wijaya took part in the women's doubles event. Every Team Kumpoo athlete gave their all on court, battling against elite opponents from around the world.

For Team Kumpoo, every major event serves as an important step toward reaching higher levels of competition. The younger players gained valuable experience from competing on a top-level stage, while the veteran’s demonstrated resilience and adaptability through demanding schedules and multiple-event campaigns. These lessons will become invaluable assets as the team continues its pursuit of future breakthroughs. Beyond wins and losses, the spirit of Take the Challenge remains at the heart of Team Kumpoo. Looking ahead, Kumpoo will continue to stand alongside every athlete, empowering performance through professional equipment, learning from every setback, and building strength through every challenge. The next stop awaits.
