On September 7, 2026, the China Masters 2026 drew to a close. Team Kumpoo players Chan Yin Chak and Catherine Choi competed in the mixed doubles and women’s doubles events respectively. Facing the world’s top competitors, both athletes earned valuable experience for the team.
The China Masters 2026 marked its 19th edition. It was a BWF World Tour Super 750 tournament. Staged from September 1 to 6 at the Shenzhen Gymnasium, it boasted a total prize purse of US$1.25 million and drew the world’s top badminton talents to the city.
In the mixed doubles event, Team Kumpoo player Chan Yin Chak from Hong Kong, China competed alongside his partner. Facing fierce competition from the world’s top mixed doubles pairs, Chan Yin Chak gave his all in every round, demonstrating outstanding fighting spirit throughout the tournament.
In the women’s doubles event, Team Kumpoo player Catherine Choi from Canada also featured in the tournament. Against some of the world’s strongest opponents, she showed courage and determination, gaining valuable highintensity match experience.
