September 7, 2026—At the recently concluded 2026 Malaysia Lee Chong Wei Cup Junior Badminton Championships, Team Kumpoo delivered an impressive performance, securing one gold, three silver and two bronze medals. The results reflect the brand’s solid foundation and ongoing investment in nurturing young badminton talent.
In the Girls’ Doubles U15 category, Chu Jing Xuan and Siti Aminah paired up for the competition and battled through the draw to claim the championship, earning Team Kumpoo its girls’ doubles gold medal of the tournament.
In Girls’ Singles U13, Lau Jay Earl put in an outstanding performance to finish runner-up. In Boys’ Singles U15, Wong Wei Shen also impressed with a strong run to secure a silver medal. Meanwhile, Adiq Puteri and Thanisha G finished runners-up in Girls’ Doubles U15, adding another silver medal and demonstrating Team Kumpoo’s competitiveness in the age group.
In Boys’ Doubles U17, Javier and Lee Jiet Han earned a bronze medal, while Chia Zhi Dong and Rehhan Preman also reached the podium in Boys’ Doubles U13, securing another bronze for Team Kumpoo.
