On August 24, 2026, the World Championships 2026 came to a close at the Indira Gandhi Sports Stadium in New Delhi, India. Multiple Team Kumpoo athletes took to the court alongside the world's best players, showcasing the team's competitive strength and fighting spirit on badminton's biggest stage.

In the mixed doubles event, Team Kumpoo member and Hong Kong, China player Chan Yin Chak partnered with his teammate to face a German pair in the opening round, whose highest world ranking reached No. 11. Chan quickly found his rhythm and built a 17–11 lead in the first game. The German pair fought back to level the score at 20–20. Under pressure, Chan and his partner held their nerve to take the opening game 22–20.

In the second game, they maintained their momentum and cruised to a 21–11 victory, securing a straight-games win and advancing to the next round. Although they were unable to progress further after facing a Japanese pair in the second round, their opening-round victory over the German duo demonstrated Chan's competitiveness and attacking potential on the biggest stage.

At this year's World Championships, several Team Kumpoo athletes represented their respective national teams. In men's singles, Finnish player Kalle Koljonen took to the court. In women's singles, Azerbaijan's Keisha Fatimah Azzahra and Egypt's Nour Youssri competed in the event, with Youssri also taking part in the women's doubles.

Every Team Kumpoo athlete gave their all on badminton's highest stage, testing themselves against the world's elite and gaining valuable experience through every hard-fought battle.
