On March 2, 2026, at the conclusion of the Singapore International Challenge 2026, Team Kumpoo celebrated another series of impressive performances. Chan Yin Chak from Hong Kong, China, battled his way to mixed doubles runner-up, while Malaysian star Cheam June Wei and Indonesian rising talent Dalila Puteri showcased promising form in their respective events.
From the opening round, Chan Yin Chak demonstrated excellent chemistry with his partner, progressing steadily through the draw to reach the final. Although he narrowly missed the title, the runner-up finish stands as strong recognition of his recent training efforts. After the match, Chan commented, “Kumpoo equipment provided me with full support during the competition, allowing me to perform at my best.”
In the men’s singles competition, Cheam June Wei advanced comfortably through the first two rounds, displaying sharp form and confidence. Indonesian youngster Dalila Puteri also delivered a commendable showing in the women’s singles event. She secured a confident 2:0 victory in the opening round to advance smoothly. In the second round, facing a more experienced opponent, she fought hard but concluded her run in the Round of 16. Competing in the Singapore Challenge for the first time, Dalila gained valuable match experience — an important step forward as this emerging Team Kumpoo talent continues progressing toward higher stages.
